Safeinest is listed in 177 countries, speaks fourteen languages, and costs the same small numeral in every family's own money — 99p in Britain, ₨99 in Pakistan, ₹99 in India, ৳99 in Bangladesh. This page is the plain version: what you pay where you live, which language the app speaks to you, what honestly works on an Android phone and on an iPhone, and where your country's own page is.
The short answer
Safeinest is two apps. Safeinest goes on your phone, and Safeinest Connect goes on your child's phone, tablet or Chromebook. You pair them once with a code, and after that every rule is set from your own phone. Both apps are on Google Play and the App Store, and the listing reaches 177 countries. The apps were built in the United Kingdom and are used by families all over the world.
What you get depends far more on which phone your child carries than on which country you live in. That is the honest heart of this page.
The price: the local 99, never a converted price
There are three plans, and the difference between them is only how many children's devices they cover.

Read that table twice, because it is unusual. The price is the same numeral in your own money, not a pound price run through an exchange rate. A family in Pakistan pays 99 rupees, not the rupee value of 99 pence. A family in Britain pays 99 pence. That is deliberate: it is how the price stays genuinely small in a country where wages are small.
Your app store handles the payment, in your own currency, and shows you the exact figure before anything is taken. Where a store cannot take payment in a country at all, the app is simply free there. What works on the phone your child actually carries
Across the world about 70 phones in every 100 run Android and about 30 are iPhones, and the split swings hugely by country — 96 in 100 Android in India, 51 in 100 in the United Kingdom, 41 in 100 in the United States. Those figures come from World Population Review, using StatCounter data gathered between October 2024 and November 2025.
On a child's Android phone
- Message-safety alerts — on the device itself, with your child's agreement, for words about self-harm, bullying and sexual content. You see the child, the kind of danger, how serious it looks and a few words; never the conversation.
- Bedtime, school hours, daily limits, per-app limits, pause a category, block now.
- Live location, a 24-hour trail, safe zones, no-go areas and a tell-me-if-they-don't-arrive alert.
- Family calls that ring on a locked phone, family messages and an SOS button.
- A screen-time report with the day's top apps, the Safeinest Browser with SafeSearch, and a removal lock that makes deleting the app a deliberate, visible step.
On a child's iPhone
- No message reading. Ever. Apple gives no app access to another app's messages, so there are no self-harm or bullying alerts from an iPhone. Any app that tells you otherwise is misleading you.
- Limits do work, through Apple's own Screen Time: bedtime, school hours, daily limits, blocking a category, block now.
- Live location, safe zones, no-go areas and arrival alerts — with location set to Always.
- Family calls, messages and SOS.
- Picture warnings, using Apple's own Communication Safety switch on iOS 17 or newer, and the Safeinest Browser.
- No removal lock yet — one is being worked on for the near future. A Screen Time passcode you set is what makes rules stick there.

The honest note about language
Message safety reads English only today. If your child types in Urdu, Hindi, Bangla, Arabic, Polish or anything else, the alerts will not catch it yet, and we will not pretend otherwise. Everything else — the limits, the location, the calls, the browser — works exactly the same in every language. Local-language detection is being built, starting with Roman Urdu and Hinglish, because those are what most of the children in our biggest markets actually type.

Where your family's data lives
Safeinest is a British company, and we aim to keep family data in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area wherever we can. It is encrypted, and we keep as little of it as we can: your child's age rather than a date of birth, a nickname rather than a legal name, and no recording of any call. It is not stored in your own country, and we would rather tell you that plainly than let you assume it. The full detail is in our privacy policy.

Common questions
Is Safeinest really available in my country?
The apps are listed in 177 countries on Google Play, and on the App Store in the territories Apple allows. The simplest test takes ten seconds: open your store and search for Safeinest. If it offers you the app, it works where you are. A handful of countries cannot take store payments at all, and in those the app is simply free.
Do I pay in my own currency?
Yes. Your app store charges you in the money you already pay it in, and shows you the exact figure on the payment screen before anything is taken. The price is set as the same small numeral in each country rather than converted from pounds, so a family paying in rupees pays 99 rupees, not the rupee value of 99 pence.
Which plan do I need?
Count your children's devices, not your children. Little Nest at the local 0.99 covers up to three child devices, Family Nest at 1.49 covers up to seven, and Mega Nest at 1.99 covers as many as you like. One parent account holds them all, and you can move up or down as your family changes. There is no per-device extra charge, ever.
Does the app speak my language?
There are fourteen: Arabic, Bangla, Chinese, English, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Urdu. Both apps and this website are translated, so your child reads their own screens in their own language too. Message-safety detection is a separate thing, and it understands English only for now.
Will Safeinest read my child's WhatsApp messages?
On an Android phone, with your child's agreement, it checks arriving messages on the device for signs of self-harm, bullying or sexual content, and sends you a short alert with a few words. It never shows you the conversation. On an iPhone it reads nothing at all, because Apple allows no app to. That difference is the same in every country.
Does it work without Google Family Link?
Yes. Safeinest pairs your phone to your child's with a code and needs no supervised Google account and no family group. The phone still needs some Google account signed in to install apps from the Play Store, but that can be an ordinary one. Many families run both anyway, using Family Link for install approvals.
Which Android version do I need?
Google Play only offers the app to a phone that can run it, so if you can install it, it works. In practice a phone on roughly Android 10 or newer runs everything, including message safety. Phones sold without Google Play cannot install it at all. On the iPhone side, Safeinest Connect needs iOS 16 or newer.
Is my family's data stored in my own country?
No, and we say so plainly. Safeinest is a British company and we aim to hold family data in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, encrypted, keeping as little as possible: an age instead of a birth date, a nickname instead of a legal name, no call recordings. Our privacy policy sets out where everything goes.
What if we genuinely cannot afford it?
Write to us at hello@safeinest.com and say so. No child should go unprotected over the price of a cup of tea, and we would rather switch a family on by hand than turn them away. There is no form to fill in and no proof to send. That is the rule, and it applies in every one of the 177 countries.
